PRINTING

Printing booklets can be tricky, for two reasons.
ONE the quality and poundage of paper used.
TWO how your printer handles paper.

If your printer wants to process two sheets at once
try using a higher quality and poundage paper.

I've made a file called TEST PAGE . It is a single sheet double sided.
To help you determine how to reinsert paper for second pass.
Unless you are absolutely sure you know how your printer processes paper
You should print out TEST page first
This will save you TIME, PAPER, and INK.
Different printers handle paper differently
Don't assume anything.

set print options to "PRINT TO FIT PAPER"
Print EVEN side ONLY on first pass
Print ODD side ONLY on second pass.

Once you have completed printing, time to staple, to make a booklet.
Odds are your stapler will NOT reach half way in to paper.
If this is the case. Open stapler like you want to staple something to the wall.
Place charts on top of enough cardboard to prevent staple from penetrating in to desk.
Staple center of charts. Remove from cardboard and bend stable over with a coin.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 or above to view and print charts

If you are one of the few who has a duplex printer, skip above instructions and print all at once.
If you don't know what a duplex printer is, you most likely do not have one.
I bought a Brother HL5250DN Laser Printer for under $200 new.
It does DUPLEX printing. Prints a fogchart in 1 minute 26 seconds in one pass.
I love it.

KINKOS charges about $3.00 per chart for black and white
and about $15.00 to print color. They both look very good.
You will have to save the file to a CD or a USB Thumb drive for Kinkos to use.

I personally print black and white. And find it quite adequate.
Besides I do not own a color printer.
